For the month of love, I find myself reflecting on what a busy month we have had with our loved ones, starting with a trip to my hometown to visit my sick Grandpa. Before I get to my projects, I have to share some pictures from our visit.
Avery was “helping” Great Grandpa Underhill with his oxygen.
GeGe enjoyed some time with Avery as well!
Grandpa Nuckles loving on our sweet girl!
It wouldn’t be a trip back home without going to coffee with Great Grandma Jean at the donut shop!
Avery getting kisses from her cousin Hayley.
Granny enjoyed having us for our visit as well!
Avery and her Aunt Heather and Aunt Shalie. Aunt Shalie was having a going away party since she is moving to Amarillo and Avery had a ball at the party!
Picture time with Glammy and Grandad!
This picture is priceless. I was reading to her and my mom took the picture. Look at that wave!
I sewed a flag for my brother’s grave site with his brand on it. I can’t believe in April he will have been gone a year. It breaks my heart that he isn’t with us anymore and that Avery will never get to meet her amazing Uncle Karlton. Miss you brother. Not a day goes by that you don’t cross my mind.
Now that I am in tears, I will get to my projects. We had a mini photo shoot to make our Valentines and now that baby girl is mobile, I will say it was not easy! She was constantly crawling off or pulling on the banner or teddy bear.
My little sweetheart!
I love this one, but of course once the baby would smile and look at me, the dogs were not. Lol
This was as good as it got for the pictures with the dogs. Chloe looks thrilled, but at least they were all looking!
For the Valentines, I punched a small hole in the bottom of the card and tied some bakers twine around the front.
Inside I added a picture from our playgroups Valentine’s Day photo shoot. Look at that grin!
Another project I made was a banner for our living room. I did a Valentine’s Day chalkboard and hung the banner above it. I love how it turned out!
Our Love Story.
Thie is my frame “wreath” that my mom and I made over Christmas of 2014. For Valentine’s month, I switched out the ribbon and added some glittery hearts.
